He was born in Ayr, Scotland, and graduated with a degree in Geology from St Andrews University before moving to the US.</p> <p class="bodytext">In addition to his real job at Ocean View, he is the Varsity Soccer coach at Santa Catalina School. Until recently he also coached his own sons’ teams, and was the Director of Coaching for the Monterey County Futbol Club. For several years he was also a member of the Monterey County Sheriff’s Search and Rescue Team.
