He graduated with a degree in Geology with honors from St Andrews University. In addition to working at Ocean View (his paid job!), he volunteers as a search dog handler/trainer for the Monterey County Sheriff's Search and Rescue Team. He is a soccer coach at Santa Catalina School and a coaching coordinator for the Monterey County Futbol Club, coaching U15 boys, U19 boys and high school girls teams. Also a California Youth Soccer Association Coaching Instructor.
