Frank Kocher, DVM, Practice Owner
Dr. Kocher has particular interests in veterinary eye surgery and cardiology, in addition to his many years of experience in all aspects of animal care. He is a volunteer on the Board of Governors for the California State Veterinary Medical Association. He also is a member of the American Society for Veterinary Ophthalmology. His hobbies are scuba-diving, bicycling, spending time with his children, and reading. He lives with his wife, two dogs, three cats, and two rabbits in Monterey.

Dr. Kocher co-authored a book called Birds Off The Perch with Larry Lachman and Diane Grindol.

Karen Fenstermaker, DVM
Dr. Fenstermaker graduated with a degree in veterinary medicine from Iowa State University in 1985. She has practiced on the Peninsula for over eight years, and particularly enjoys surgery.

Maria Kuty, DVM, Associate
Dr. Maria Kuty hails from the Santa Cruz area. She studied Veterinary Medicine at UC Davis. She
has a special interest in feline medicine, especially geriatric care. When she is not working at
Ocean View, she enjoys mountain biking in the Santa Cruz mountains, and spending time with her three
cats.

Amanda Sharp, DVM
Dr. Sharp is a graduate of the University of California at Davis, and interned at the prestigious Animal Medical Center in New York. Her interests include both endoscopy and oncology. She lives in Carmel Valley with her husband and three boys.
