Frank Kocher, DVM, Practice Owner DVM, University of California at Davis 1968 Dr. Kocher has special interests in veterinary ophthalmology, ultrasound and cardiology, in addition to his many years of experience in all aspects of animal care. He volunteered for several years for the California State Veterinary Medical Association as a member of the Board of Governors. He also is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the American Animal Hospital Association, the Monterey County Veterinary Association. His hobbies are scuba-diving, bicycling, spending time with his children, and reading. He lives with his wife, dog, two cats, and two rabbits in Monterey.
Dr. Kocher co-authored a book called Birds Off The Perch with Larry Lachman and Diane Grindol.
Karen Fenstermaker, DVM, Associate DVM, Iowa State University 1985
Karen has been practicing small animal medicine since 1985, (after 8-tracks but before CD’s). She enjoys all aspects of small animal medicine and surgery. Karen arrived on the Monterey Peninsula in 1996 and became an associate at Ocean View in 1998.
Karen has 3 beautiful children, a wonderful husband, 3 dogs, 1 cat. When she is not working or volunteering at her child’s elementary school she enjoys hiking, biking and photography.
Amanda Sharp, DVM, Associate DVM, University of California at Davis 1981 Dr. Sharp is a graduate of the University of California at Davis, and interned at the prestigious Animal Medical Center in New York. Her interests include both endoscopy and oncology. She lives in Carmel Valley with her husband and three boys.
