Frank Kocher, DVM, Hospital Administrator
Dr. Kocher has owned and operated Ocean View Veterinary Hospital for over thirty years.

Roderick Gilchrist, Manager    
Rod was born in Ayr, Scotland. He graduated with a degree in Geology with honors from St Andrews University. In addition to working at Ocean View (his paid job!), he volunteers as a search dog handler/trainer for the Monterey County Sheriff's Search and Rescue Team. He is a soccer coach at Santa Catalina School and a coaching coordinator for the Monterey County Futbol Club, coaching U13 boys, U15 boys and U17  girls teams. Also a California Youth Soccer Association Coaching Instructor. Rod also enjoys surfing, climbing and cycling.

Jaquelin Petenbrink, Manager
Jaquie joined the team in 1999. Her experience has come from working as a receptionist for four years, an assistant for one, and as a manager since 2004. She has training in veterinary management through AAHA and AVMA management programs. Jaquie also has experience as a medical assistant, phlebotomist, CHA, and HHA. A true local, she was born and raised on the Monterey Peninsula.

Julie Clements, Assistant Manager
Julie joined the Ocean View team in fall of 2005. She has degrees in Anthropology and Ecology from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. She came to Monterey from Fairbanks, Alaska where she was a dog-mushing guide and handler for three years. Her last year in Alaska she worked as an emergency veterinary technician. She also previously worked as the logistics and office manager for a rural veterinary service in Alaska. She enjoys spending time with her dog, Frog and her husband, Nathan.
